At Apollo Adult Day Program, we are dedicated to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and empowering environment for adults with developmental disabilities. Our program is community-based and grounded in best practices that are fully endorsed and supported by the California Department of Developmental Services and San Andreas Regional Center. Through these partnerships, we are able to provide a safe, welcoming space where individuals can thrive and reach their fullest potential.

Our mission is to offer comprehensive training and community-integrated activities that empower individuals to gain greater independence, confidence, and self-reliance. By focusing on skill-building, social engagement, and active participation in the community, we help our participants develop the tools they need to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives. We believe in the inherent potential of every individual, and through personalized programs and individualized support, we encourage our participants to actively contribute to and connect with the world around them.

Our Mission, Vision and Values

Apollo Adult Day Program Inc.’s mission is to empower our individuals to a choice driven life and enhance their abilities to live, work and make a difference in the community. Our goal is to provide meaningful programs that will enhance the quality of life of each individual that we support to live the life they choose. We aim to create programs that are inclusive, provide activities that are beneficial to them and foster other opportunities they have yet to experience to fulfill their dreams and aspirations in life. Programs offered at Apollo ADP are innovative, enhancing and expanding traditional services by adapting to the changing needs of the people that we serve. We acknowledge the potential of each individual, enabling them to learn new things, develop new skills, and foster personal growth. We do this by providing them with new and meaningful experiences with limitless possibilities. Each individual is empowered to make decisions for themselves and is encouraged to engage in discussions on developing a program plan that best fits their personal goals and needs. Each plan created is person-centered and derived from the individual’s personal goals, wishes, dreams, and aspirations. Apollo Adult Day Program values the personal rights of our individuals, placing it in the forefront of our philosophy of equality in the rights we all share. Our organization ensures that the health, safety and personal rights of all individuals participating in our program are protected and that they are afforded the opportunity to reach their full potential. We envision our individuals to thrive in the community, empowered to control their own lives, and confident to overcome their behavioral and personal challenges to live as equal citizens and embrace their own sense of identity.
