What to do at home during lock-down
Starting Tuesday, March 31, Virginians will have to stay-at-home, thanks to a new order from Governor Ralph Northam.
"Our message today is very clear that is to stay home," Northam said during a press conference Monday afternoon. "I will say it again, I want everyone to hear me, stay home. It is clear that more people need to hear this basic message: stay home."
The executive order takes effect immediately and will remain in place until June 10, unless amended or rescinded by a further executive order. Previously, this was a suggestion to residents, now it is an order, Northam said.
